Oh noooo! That’s how I felt when it was brought to my attention that I forgot something very important in my Birthday Queen for a Day blog post I published last Monday, October 13!
How on earth I forgot to mention, when writing about the highlights of my special birthday brunch, one of the best highlights of all – the VIDEO my son Jeremy created and showed for our guests! He crammed into a short video (a little over three minutes) a bunch of stills from all facets of my life, from infancy on up until now! I still can’t figure out where he found all the photos, especially the very old ones! I didn’t even know some of them had existed. And of course he added music, songs appropriate to the ages and stages of his mom! 😜
I wish I could upload the entire video he did, but I can’t due to some privacy issues that were raised, so I’m just going to show you a teensy 13-second silent excerpt. It starts with a couple of briefly moving pix from way back in the early ’80s during my folk-rock band phase, followed by some of my fashion pictures (from my illustration phase in the 60s) that Jeremy colourized and animated!
Here you go!
For anyone interested in the work of my son, the Emmy-winning editor, Jeremy’s website with portfolio is here.
He also creates, to order, amazing and entertaining personal video tributes, as seen here.
Thank you so much, Jeremy! And a big thank you too, to my exceptional daughter, Kathryn, a computer whiz as well, who helps me if I ever get stuck (as I did earlier today with this post). 😅 I am truly lucky.
🥰😍
