Something very annoying just happened before. At around 1:30 p.m. I went to the shopping centre near my house. It is not too far away, but the trip includes going through a tunnel – an underpass, over which trains can cross – and which necessitates a downhill-and-then-uphill trek. Good exercise, I know. Book Progress Report #6
Hi dear readers! So, as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in my last report, I finished writing my book. Since then I’ve rewritten chapter headings and the title itself, and did a proofreading pass through it, plus edited bits that needed it along the way. I also added some photos to the Appendix. By the way, the book is now called (drum roll):

Back in the ’80s, we here in Montreal suffered more than our share of bus strikes. Some of my fellow denizens will remember traffic snarls; others exercised their leg muscles and walked; still others will recall riding their bicycles to work… downtown… during a downpour… and arriving at work looking as if they’d swum there. Which in a way they had!
