Not too bad, for a ragtag group of folk having fun with merry melodies!

Vaccinaaation πΆπ΅
With apologies to Fermo Dante Marchetti and Maurice de FΓ©raudy, composer and lyricist of the famous song, Fascination – perhaps best known as performed by Nat King Cole:
So: I have taken the liberty of writing a version that is perhaps more current, given these Covid times… My ditty goes like this:
πΆπ΅ Vaccinaaation πΆπ΅
It was vaccinaaation, I know,
Time for a shot in my arm, for protection
Just a little jab, just a tiny stab
I was saved by a quickie injection
It was vaccinaaation, I know,
A second shot came along three months later
Just a little poke, it really is no joke β
My arm hurt like a bite from a βgator
It was vaccinaaation, I know,
Time to get boostered, just for βinsuranceβ
Just a little pierce, just a little prick
No Covid! For I have resistance! β¦well, 70% resistanceβ¦ approximatelyβ¦ theyβre not sureβ¦

Light at the End of the Tunnel
These depressing days reminded me of a song I wrote in 1983.Β π΅ Back then it was apropos of nothing, really, but it kind of fits what’s happening now. Maybe a tad exaggerated – poetic licence, I guess.
Time Goes – the song!
Back on September 23, I posted the lyrics to a song I had written many years ago (circa 1986). Now here is the songΒ itself, which I just had digitized.
