Halloween in 1955 was easy!
All I had to do was wear my daffodil ballet costume – and go door to door with a shopping bag in the apartment building where we lived – 5650 Cote St. Luc Road. And by the way, back then we used to say “Charity, please!” to get the candy loot!
I’ve mentioned my ballet phase before, mainly here – at least in passing. (The phase was mercifully short. 😄) But it gave me a handy costume to wear for Halloween for a couple of years, at least while it still fit me!
Sorry I don’t supply magnifying glasses, but if you must know, in the group pic I’m in the middle of the back row, right behind the “leader”…where my dad at the time cleverly drew an arrow with blue pen pointing at his 9-year-old daughter. 😀
Cutest daffodil I’ve ever seen. Am I biased? Maybe! 🙂

I do believe that I was also a daffodil in elementary school ballet. That would be about ten years later, I guess. Memories! I must try to find a photo of that. You make a cute daffodil.
