Hi, friends! I know it’s been a while, but I’ll try to keep this short. My dear husband John has Parkinson’s Disease (PD) – he was diagnosed in 2022. It’s not fun. The freezing gait, the tremor, the hunch, the weakened voice, the falls, the forgetting… the “Pisa Syndrome.” (Yeah, he leans to the right when sitting; that’s what they call it. Cute, not cute.) But otherwise his mind is still pretty sharp – especially his love of wordplay. The other day he coined a great word – he is “Parkinsane.” Still has his sense of humour! Thanks for this blog-post title, sweetie!

Yes, there are various meds for various symptoms. They are effective, to a point. Still no damn cure. That’s where we-the-people come in. For my upcoming birthday I’m asking – pleading – for a bit of $ help, for research. Any amount is better than none. Here are the best links:
