Hi FF fans! The Grammar Cop is delighted to ‘see’ you all again after a glorious vacation – although she is NOT delighted to uncover yet more abominable English errors! Sigh…
MS Anniversary – 20 years
In 1997 my diagnosis finally came – not as a shock – but as a confirmation.

I don’t think you’ll see this one coming. But if you do, you’ve certainly been around!
Delicious Delis of Montreal
This post of mine was pretty popular the first time around. I can’t imagine why! 😀 Yesterday I went to The Main deli across from Schwartz’s, and although I felt a bit like a traitor, I have to say it wasn’t half bad. 😉
Schwartz’s, The Main, Smoke Meat Pete’s, Snowdon Deli, Lester’s, Dunn’s, Nickel’s, plus Ben’s, Dusty’s, Delly Boys and Caplan’s of bygone times… our Montreal Delis have always been unique and each has had its own legions of fans.

Signs of Summer
Wacky signs my daughter saw in Paris etc.!
I’ve fallen way behind in posting. Instead of continuing to stare at all the great ideas I have for epic posts and not actually writing any of them, I’ll try to break the bloggers’ block by posting some amusing signs I’ve come across in my last couple of months of travels. They might be amusing only to me, so no guarantees… Photos taken in Montréal, Toronto, and Paris, France.
Do not post. File under: “Irony”
File under: “Who thought this was a good idea?”
How are the fruit and vegetable bags? File under: “Low-tech, in situ survey technology”
File under: “If staplers are such a common request, why don’t they just keep one there?”

This is an oldie but goodie! Thanks to Rosalie Fisher for passing it along. 🙂
Laughter: The Universal Language – #22
This is an oldie, but I figured since I never heard it before, maybe some of you loyal readers never did either. It’s actually more poignant than it is funny. How about this: it’s poignantly funny. I’ll write it down roughly the way my friend John told it to me today:
Why didn’t I do something?!
I wish I could replay this.
