Well, well! It seems I won First Prize in a writing contest! My short story beat out 200+ contestants. Go figure! I was shocked, truly! (I wrote it *many* years ago but it was never published. Don’t ask me why I dredged it up now, but I’m sure glad I did!) I won some really cool stuff thanks to the contest host, author Dan Alatorre – another fab WordPress blogger. And a huge THANK YOU to Dan for all his efforts – he had to wade through all those stories! LOL. Here’s his site, with my story posted there.

  6. I am so proud of you! I know your thrilled for something from so long ago to come to the forefront like that. I enjoyed it! I think she should have pulled Mina’s head off like a bug.
