It’s already been nine years since we lost the amazing, brilliant George Carlin. When he died nine years ago this June, he was the same age I am now. Way too damn young, if you ask me!
George is the guy who wrote these lines:
- Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?
- The reason I talk to myself is because I’m the only one whose answers I accept.
- Atheism is a non-prophet organization.
Watch a couple of classic Carlin bits – and tell me, who is comparable now? Lament with me, that he is no more.

What a coincidence. A little over a week ago Michelle and I were looking for something to watch. We pulled up both of those on Youtube and watched them. I loved his skits.
