99-cent book sale!

Wouldn’t you love a bit of light summer reading at an equally light price? 😁

Ellie Presner 1971
A demure-looking me circa 1971.

My eBook story collection, First Kiss and other True Fiction, touches on themes I’m sure we can all identify with: early childhood fears, disappointments and growth; adolescent angst and discovery; and adult anxieties and small triumphs.

The pieces are a mix of fiction and non-fiction. I’ll leave it to the reader to try to discern which is which – not that it really matters, in the grand scheme of things, right? What happened, happened – or perhaps I only imagined it did.

Many of the stories have appeared in my blog, a few have not.

One was nominated for a National Magazine Award. Another won an online short-story contest with over 200 entrants. Many have been published before in a variety of publications.

Amazon only allows this special promotion for U.S. and British residents. And only for six days! I don’t know why; those are the rules. (But even if you live in other countries, the price is already very low. For example, here in Canada, my ebooks – First Kiss, plus Surviving Hollywood North: Crew Confessions from an Insider – are $2.99 each – less than the price of a Starbuck’s coffee! Shocking, I know! 😁)

So if you’d like to take advantage of this amazing 99¢ sale, you can do so as of Thursday morning, July 26, until Tuesday, July 31. After that it reverts back to the regular price.

If you live in the U.S. or Britain, visit amazon.com or amazon.co.uk during the sale period above to get your copy of First Kiss and other True Fiction.

By the way, you don’t need a Kindle device to read Amazon eBooks. You can just click on the book after buying it and read it on your computer. Or you can download the free Kindle Reader app to your tablet, phone or computer and enjoy it that way. Or, for those of you who prefer paper pages, both my books are also available on Amazon as paperbacks.

Happy reading!
