This elderly couple defied soldiers holding nasty-looking guns! We don’t need to understand the language to understand what is happening here. I would give them each a medal, if I were Zelensky. Come to think of it, I’d give him a medal, too!
I applaud the grit and resolve of Ukrainian fighters, and mourn with refugees torn from their homes and everything they’ve known. May the slaughter stop soon!!
