I started thinking about Adam (aka “Batman”) West’s passing Friday, and it brought back so many memories of the early (black & white!) days of television. Adam was a perfect Batman, square-jawed and brave – nothing fazed him. For new followers, here are a few other things I wrote over a year ago about this TV era.
Further to my 60 years: Then and Now post of three weeks ago, I’d like to talk to you today about television. I don’t know about you, but I get misty-eyed when I compare just a few of the TV-land offerings of 1956 with shows of today.
Ok, people. This has gone far enough! We have a lovely channel here called Animal Planet. Can you please tell me why it features such idiotic fare as:
