Things are moving really fast now, people! My book is being formatted as an eBook by Shane Simmons, best son-in-law and writer ever! I’ll have the ISBN shortly. And oh! The cover! Take a look!

Book Progress Report #14
Three-and-a-half months. That’s how long it’s been since my last report to you. How time flies! It especially flies in the “attempting-to-get-one’s-book-traditionally-published” world. My latest news is:
Dan Alatorre’s Word Weaver Writing Contest: FIRST PLACE “Making Copies” by Ellie Presner
Well, well! It seems I won First Prize in a writing contest! My short story beat out 200+ contestants. Go figure! I was shocked, truly! (I wrote it *many* years ago but it was never published. Don’t ask me why I dredged it up now, but I’m sure glad I did!) I won some really cool stuff thanks to the contest host, author Dan Alatorre – another fab WordPress blogger. And a huge THANK YOU to Dan for all his efforts – he had to wade through all those stories! LOL. Here’s his site, with my story posted there.

Experimentally yours…
Just trying to see if this new pointer link works. Hopefully yes. Thanks for bearing with me!
Necropolis Awaits……
Okay, my brilliant son-in-law’s blockbuster novel is out!
Bird on a Wire
So it seems I have been “challenged” by my good friend and fellow WordPress blogger, Lady G., to share one of my favourite music videos with you. She gave me free rein as to my pick, so it’s got to be this one.
A Piece of the Rock
Nobody told me it was illegal. Maybe it wasn’t, back in 1971. I still feel a bit like a criminal.
Barney is PURPLE and so is my foot.
One definition of irony is: “Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs.” Well, I think it was ironic that I went to my doctor (dermatologist) two days ago with a perfectly good left foot and toe, but departed with a foot and toe that feel BROKEN!
