Sabbatical 3.0

Hi ! Yet again I’m taking a break…

…to have more time to write, edit, and read; many tomes and tasks await my attention. My husband John and I call our social-media habit “falling down the rabbit hole.” Although I’m more addicted to it than he is – I take my phone with me just going from room to room! Ay yi!

Look, I just love staying abreast of everything and everyone! But it’s now at the point where I’m not able to read certain books that I really, really want to, that are just sitting there on my Kindle (I must dust it off!), tantalizing me with their “so near and yet so far” status, due to my inadequate time management skills.

Right now I’m still not finished editing a book I started a few months ago – granted I was sick for 1.5 of those months, but still… Oh! And the Book Club(s) I joined! Sharon, I confess, while I just got Martha Wainwright’s glorious memoir finally, and I’m up to page 57, I want to finish it in good time for our meeting soon, in February! And Monday Night Choir will resume shortly! 🎶🎤🎵🎼 Yesss! Oh, and did I mention my bridge group? Okay, never mind! The point is I’m feeling Pressured with a capital P, therefore something has to give.

So I’m off for now, but as I said in the previous editions of my “sabbatical,” first in 2021’s A Step Back, and later In 2023, Social-Media Sabbatical, be assured that…
